Wild, vibrant, and deliciously moody — What In Carnation is A Floral Affair at its most untamed and dramatic. Bold poppies, morning glories, and carnations tumble across a dark moody background with the kind of energy that makes this print impossible to ignore. Romantic, a little wild, and making absolutely no attempt to be subtle about it.
Borrowed from the work of Swiss painter Jacques-Laurent Agasse — a man best known for his extraordinary animal paintings who also maintained a remarkable personal collection of botanical reference works painted in oils purely for his own use. This was never meant to be seen by anyone. We found it, fell immediately and completely in love with it, and decided the world absolutely deserved to wear it. Some references are simply too good to stay in the studio.
