Keep Your Splashd Spectacular!

A Little Splash of Care Advice:

Want your fabulous Rash Guards, leggings, shorts and bikinis to keep making waves for seasons to come? Give it a good freshwater rinse after each adventure to wash away those sneaky salt and chlorine particles that love to crash your fashion party! And while we adore all things water-related, your garments doesn’t enjoy being left damp and forgotten (it’s a bit high-maintenance that way, but worth it!).

Oh, and one more thing from the care committee—those rough surfaces? They’re the sworn enemies of our beautiful fabrics and will try to pull out the white fibers faster than you can say “underwater botanical extravaganza.” Keep your Splashd pieces away from these texture troublemakers to maintain their picture-perfect appearance!

All of our Splashd pieces should be machine-washed cold or warm with like colors, using gentle detergents and without bleach. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the apparel.
To stop any annoying pilling or snagging of the fibers we suggest separating laundry to protect the fabric from abrasion and friction in the washing process. We don’t just mean separating clothing by color. We suggest also sorting clothes by fabric type. For example, separating tougher fabrics like denim and linens from soft yoga leggings and workout tops. This way, heavier, thicker, and sturdier fabrics will be less likely to damage the lighter ones in the wash by creating extra friction. Another way to prevent pilling in the wash is by turning garments inside out and fastening zippers, buttons, and hooks. Rubbing against these hard objects can damage clothing fibers.

Remember, a little care goes a long way in keeping your outdoor fashion statements speaking volumes!
