Every Splashd design—from our ‘Whale of A Time’ rash guards to our ‘Scale the Seven Seas’ yoga leggings—is born from the belief that activewear should be as expressive as the person wearing it. When I’m not punning my way through new collection names or testing our latest swimwear against the Pacific’s mightiest waves, you’ll find me practicing sunrise yoga in our leggings, hiking coastal trails, or convincing my friends that yes, you absolutely can wear a patterned bikini while attempting to paddleboard (spoiler: you might fall in, but you’ll look fabulous doing it). The Creative Current Behind Splashd
Well hello there! I’m Kate, the wave maker behind Splashd, and I believe life’s too beautiful not to make a few splashes along the way. As a designer with a serious soft spot for everything old and beautiful, I find myself constantly inspired by vintage treasures and timeless patterns that tell stories of adventures past.
My love affair with the great outdoors runs as deep as my passion for design—whether I’m chasing sunrises on mountain trails, finding peace by the water’s edge, or discovering hidden gems in antique shops, I’m always seeking that perfect blend of beauty and adventure. It was this combination of creative spirit and outdoor enthusiasm that sparked the idea for Splashd.
I created Splashd because I believe everyone deserves to express themselves boldly while doing what they love—whether that’s striking a yoga pose at dawn, conquering their first hiking trail, or simply splashing around in their backyard pool.
